Another wedding post long overdue! Just so you know, they did get there pictures with 4 week of their wedding date:) It just takes me a lot longer to get caught up with my blog these days. I hope to get a lot better this year. Travis and Diane got married in Yankton, SD. It was a warm September day, but beautiful with the blue sky and the locations they found were amazing. I love the picture of them on the alley staircase, I blew it up on a large piece of metal for a show I did in January and it looks amazing! Blessing to you all- Kristi

Got a new format for my blog now, so I’m hoping this post goes through. I am way behind posting, so please excuse me. Life has been very busy here.
Adam & Melissa had a beautiful wedding near Viborg, SD. We took lots of pictures on their farm and surrounding areas. I truly loved photographing this entire wedding party, they were great to work with. A beautiful time of year to do a session at Newton Hill by Canton, SD. Josh & Stacie humored me as we had to walk the trail to find these locations. Luckily, it was a nice day outside so we didn’t have to deal with wind and leaves blowing everywhere. Sorry it’s taken me so long to post these. Sam & Kayla- Engagement Session01.25.13
Loved the yellow truck Kayla drove to the session. It was just the perfect prop for these fall pictures on an old abandoned trail near by home/studio. We had a great time finding some places around town that weren’t frequently used. Do they look perfect together? I’m looking forward to their wedding in September. What a day for a wedding. Usually when I head to Okoboji to photograph a wedding in August it is sunny and windy, but on this day it down poured most of the day. Chad & Kristin planned a beautiful outdoor wedding on the Greenway of Arnold’s Park in Okoboji. As you can see from the pictures the outdoor wedding got moved into a tent. It was a crazy day of moving locations and waiting for a break in the rain (to change to sprinkles) to head outside with umbrellas. The bride and groom handled if very well. My assistant Stephen and I really enjoyed all the challenges the day has in store for us. We were able to push ourselves creatively and technically to get many of these shots.
