Ok, so we thought picking April 1st for Ben’s 3yr. old pictures sounds wonderful with all the spring colors and temps, but who knew that we were in store for a record breaking day. The temps reached 91 degrees here on April 1st. I can’t ever remember that happening in all my life. Little Ben was a trooper and the just kept going, pink cheeks and everything. We decided to meet at the park in Dell Rapids because it has a caboose stationed there and Ben loves trains. There he got to climb all over the train and we got some great candid pictures. Afterwards, we walked down to the river for some pictures of him which made for a nice contrast to the orange train. Children are so much fun to photograph, there expressions are priceless! Who would have thought that we’d have such a beautiful day in Dec. for outdoor pictures? I was elated when we showed up at the Falls and the water running over the large falls was white, not the brown we see in Spring and Summer. I had the wonderful opportunity to take little Jett’s picture again, and my how he has grown. He’s sitting up by himself and has amazing smiles! I have never know a 9 month old, until now, that when given crayons they don’t eat them! Little Jett was fascinated with the crayons and wanted to color a pictures, so smart!
